ChessMouseSpeed is a browser-based reaction and execution training tool. This policy explains what information may be collected and how it is handled.
When submitting a score to the public leaderboard, users may enter a display name. Display names and scores are stored in a cloud database (such as Firebase Firestore) and displayed publicly.
Users should not submit personal, private, or sensitive information as a display name.
ChessMouseSpeed uses browser local storage to save preferences such as sound settings, theme preferences, and personal best scores. This data remains stored locally on the user's device.
The website may use analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to understand traffic patterns, browser types, device information, and approximate location data. This information is used in aggregate form for service improvement.
Cookies may be used for functional or analytics purposes. Users may disable cookies through their browser settings.
If donation links are present, they redirect to third-party providers (such as PayPal). ChessMouseSpeed does not collect or store payment information.
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect stored data. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure.
ChessMouseSpeed does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe data has been submitted by a child, please contact us.
This policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
